Tanks!
Sometime in 2020 idk
Tanks was the first 2D game I made, before this all that I had done was 3D. I rememeber the first 3D 'game' I made was actually for a project during the first week of 7th grade.
I still remember, it was a project about what we wanted to do when we grow up, and at the time I wanted to be a game developer (or, a game developer that makes money I might say).
Essentially at the time I was working on making a first person shooter. I had a map built in Blender and you could walk around and shoot a gun (it honestly worked quite well, but it was defintely not optimized).
I made a copy of the game, and added signs around the map that acted as my slideshow (the project was supposed to be a slideshow but I was massive overacheived before High School).
I remember the game not loading properly at first, but eventually I got it to work and that day my 7th grade teacher walked around my game and shot a gun.
Back to "Tanks!" I have no clue when I started making it, but the picture in the top right was the first Instagram story I posted about it. March 27 2020...at 5:55AM, I had issues back then.
I'm actaully rather surprised with how much content I had added to the game, more than 20 levels, story mode, free play, and a points system. Not bad for the first 2D game.
The last post I can find about it was on May 24, 2020, so I can assume I had stopped working on it soon thereafter.
Note: I tested the WebGL on Microsoft Edge on PC, can't guarantee it will work on other browsers or devices.
